Pearl Harbor has a resonance for all Americans. The site is accessible, evocative, and moving. It’s the top site for visitors to Hawaii.
Experience the highlights of Oahu on a full day “circle island” tour with knowledgeable local guides in a small group setting.
In newer premium vehicles, you will be picked up from your lodging and start the day learning about famous Honolulu sites before arriving at Hawaii's most visited attraction, Pearl Harbor. You will learn personal tales and the tragic history from your professional guide, watch a moving 20 minute film, and travel by boat to the Arizona Memorial, where you will disembark at this hallowed gravesite for over a thousand U.S. service members.
After a couple of hours at Pearl Harbor, you'll head up through the middle of the island, where you’ll first stop at Green World Coffee Farm (with coffee and chocolate tastings) and then at the popular Dole Plantation, the last remaining farm for pineapples which have an important history in Hawaii. After a tasty made-to-order hot lunch at a highly rated local food stand, you’ll visit the famous North Shore beaches, including possible turtle sightings on the beach.
During the afternoon, you'll head down the eastern side (“windward side”) with stunning coastal views on one side (including of Chinaman’s Hat) and scenic farms and mountains on the other, with many picture-taking stops and a chance to purchase some local fruit.
Additional afternoon highlights include a Macadamia Nut Farm (with tastings), a historical Hawaiian place of worship (Pu'u o Mahuka Heiau), Valley of the Temples, Pali Lookout, and the National Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl Crater (over 53,000 veterans laid to rest there), before returning to your lodging in the early evening.
INCLUDED: Door-to-door transport, professional guide with deep local ties to the local community, all admission fees, a continental breakfast [suspended during COVID], a cooked-to-order local lunch, local snacks & tastings, and drinks

COVID-19 UPDATE: All State-required safety precautions are taken, including enhanced cleaning and the wearing of masks by the guide and guests unless socially distanced outside the van. Dole is currently closed on Wednesdays.
The standard shared tour, which takes up to 8 people (on a 14 passenger van), is reopening in mid-April.
The tour can also be booked as a private tour. Through May 2021, the price for a private tour has been lowered (for a limited time and may no longer be offered soon). For parties of 6 or less, usually it would be $1,432 + tax, but now it is only $1,099 + tax. For parties larger than 6, there is a $179 per person additional charge (on top of $1,099) for each person beyond 6 people (up to 14 people total; for larger parties, please contact us). If you can only do a date within 24 hours (i.e. tomorrow), it's not currently bookable online, but please contact us as it may still be possible. If you are looking to book a private tour after May 27, please select the Standard Tour in the booking form and just book at least 8 spots to make it private (but please note if you are actually less than 8 people).
