Top 25 Aquariums in the U.S.

Maui Revealed Guidebook:

A hit with kids, and us not-so-kids. Definitely worth a stop; the quality shines. Relatively small but extremely well-done aquarium. Fantastic collection of fish, and the sealife seems remarkably well cared for. Also, one or the more impressive gift shops we’ve soon with many locally made items.

Lonely Planet Guidebook:

Must-Visit Recommendation. This midsize aquarium showcases Hawaii’s dazzling marine life, including many species found nowhere else.

Fodor's Guidebook:

Fodor’s Choice. Vibrant exhibits that provide an excellent introduction to the sea life that makes Hawaii special. Also, the gift shop is one of the best on Maui for artsy souvenirs and toys.

Moon Guidebook:

Recommended. There isn’t a snorkeling spot on the island where you’re going to see as wide a range of marine life. One of the island’s best family attractions and its best rainy day activity. To avoid the crowds, visit in the morning right as the facility opens, and head directly to the last exhibit and work your way toward the front.
