Surfing is synonymous with Hawai’i; Hawaiians invented it. Lessons aren’t as difficult as you may think, and it’s fairly easy to master. Lahaina is a much better place to learn than South Maui.
Ancient Hawaiians invented surfing, and it is as big a part of Hawaiian culture today as ever. Learn how to surf, or take your skills to the next level, with a lesson at Lahaina Harbor / Breakwall with ideal spots for both beginners and the more experienced. Run by the nephew of legendary Hawaiian surfer Titus Kinimaka, the Royal Hawaiian Surf Academy will pair you with highly trained and enthusiastic staff who will ensure a fun time out on the water and might even help you discover a new passion!
Included are a surfboard, long sleeve UV rash guard (shirt), and reef shoes.
COVID-19 UPDATE: This activity has reopened and follows all safety precautions. However, due to not being able to combine different groups, the public group price is currently only available for parties of 3 or more (essentially it will be private), so please do not book Option 1 if you are less than 3 people.
