TravelShack's Choice

Why we recommend this option over others
  • Profits support this 35-year-old non-profit organization's marine life research and conservation efforts
  • Harbor boarding means you don’t have to get wet (unlike boardings at Kaanapali Beach)
  • The catamarans are much more stable than monohull boats (important if you are prone to seasickness, especially during the winter months when water conditions can be more variable)
  • Dinner cooked onboard and served to you (as well as drinks and dessert) like a restaurant (not a buffet)
  • Spacious boat with opportunities to explore the boat and views from different angles
  • People not packed in (max of 40-50, unlike another cruise that takes ~150 people)

Guidebook Reviews

Maui Revealed Guidebook:

Maui's often placid evening waters make dinner cruises a delight.

Three’s Bar & Grill (cruise caterer):
'Ono' (standout) - the food is great.

Fodor's Guidebook:

There's no better place to see the sun set on the Pacific than from one of Maui's many boat tours.

Moon Guidebook:

The best dinner cruise out of Lahaina is offered by Pacific Whale Foundation. The power catamaran used for this charter is the nicest, and the menu includes locally sourced produce and sustainably harvested seafood.

Three's Bar & Grill (caterer): Local favorite with unique items that are tasty.
