The beach is possibly the safest and gentlest water on the island. This is where King Kamehameha chose to spend the last years of his extraordinary life.
On this 1 hour canoe ride, you will paddle with up to 5 others and the guide as the steersman through the calm clear waters of Kailua Bay. You’ll hear stories about the role of canoeing in Hawaiian culture, some of the local landmarks, and the rich history of the area. There’s also a good chance you’ll see spinner dolphins, possibly even doing their trademark leaps in the air.
