You’ll also experience amazing views of tropical waterfalls, including famous Rainbow Falls. After a pleasant jungle walk down to another impressive waterfall (Kulaniapia) on private property, you can swim, kayak, and paddleboard, or just relax by the shore. The tour concludes with lunch at a picturesque spot with more waterfall viewing.

Booking Tips

TravelShack's Choice

Why we recommend this option over others
  • Mostly on private property with few if any tourists around (exception: Rainbow Falls)
  • Minimal time stuck in a van, as everything is near each other and very close to downtown Hilo, so you spend the day immersed in nature, not simply being driven around for quick photo ops
  • The most reputable and longest running small group tour operator on the Big Island (over 25 years)
  • Intimate group of only 4-12 people
